FRC Telethon

The count for the FRC Registry is at 59. Do I have to get Jerry Lewis to help us here. Come on you guys. Start getting in touch with other clubs and post a message on other boards. Let's see if we can hit 100 members by Thanksgiving. I think the webmaster should have a prize for us all if we reach that goal. Maybe a gathering at his house! I'll bring the Italian pastries from Brooklyn. Let's get to work.

We have a special car here.

Remember Hardtops are Different! Only 6,000 made. And FYI, only 10,000 1963 split windows.

I saw a show on TV showing the 1963 convertible and the 1963 split, and the 1999 Hardtop. The narrator said, usually the convertible is worth more, but in this case its the split is the more valuable. And, sitting next to it was a '99 hardtop.

Larry,

Recently you posted on how to contact other clubs, but it seems redundant to hit the clubs that you may have already hit... How about a list of what you have done so that we aren't rolling over each other? Just a thought.

Registry on Search Engine

To admins and moderators,

Let's make the FRC registry more accessible and easier to find. Two suggestions are to put it as a link on the main page, so if anyone happens to fall upon this site, they will see it. Right now its hidden in a post. Also, put it on a search engine, as 1999-2000 FRC registry, so anyone searching for FRC's will come across the registry.

Also, enticing them to join, and profiting at the same time, you might want to have badges made up for the fenders that say FRC 345 hp. Charge a fee to cover expense. If people feel their paying for something, they right away feel it has more value. It's psycological. I am sure there are many mfg's that can authenticate the badges for us. Also, lets get creative. We have 59 members so far, since I joined. We could put together a screensaver with 59 pictures with everyones cars and production numbers. It will also stimulate the Z06's and other Corvettes to visit the site. What do you need, a old boy from Brooklyn to make you creative?

Another thing, because its so hard to post your own pics in a signature, it could be deterrant. Change the format so if someone gets sick of their signature, they can change it themselves. Also, I am still waiting for you to change mine, with the larger letters in the red hardtop pic in my signature. If I could do it myself, I would. A little more freedom, as far as pics are conerned would be nice And, while I'm on this roll, not to criticize, it's after all, just my opinion, but I think the colors for the website could be better. Brown is a depressing color.

Remember, what keeps a sight going is a limited production car such as the FRC, novelty's to purchase for it, and knowing you have something different.
