help i think the clutch is going or manbe tranny

Hello All
I just got this car about 4 days ago and somthing wierd is happening.
When I come to a complete stop and put the car in neutral then back in to gear it goes in to gear fine but there is a gear grinding sound when i give it gas( Kindof like when you try to put in gear with out steping on the clutch) The car still takes off fine and runs threw all the gears. It only happen when I come to a complete stop. It does Have a aluminum flywheel and a spec III clutch. can anyone help me

Might just be chatter from the aluminum flywheel. Either that, or you've got a serious transmission problem developing.

Your clutch & flywheel setup is well known for chatter. I'm not knocking it I have the same setup. It is what it is.

I am familar with the chatter but this is not that. I think it might be a TOB I am having it towed to the shop in the morning. I hope it's not too $$$ I talked to the LAPD (corvette shop in LA) And they told me it was just installed about 1000 miles ago.
