Recognizing that Hardtops are different

It's nice to see that the Franklin Mint recognizes the 1999 FRC in this limited edition collection.

They also make a single hardtop in blue. I just bought the one in the picture above. It's called the American Dream. The detail is phenomenal. The headlights open. The detail to the engine compartment, undercarraige, interior and trunk with carpeting is fantastic. When you open the trunk, there is a plate that says 1999 Hardtop and serial number.

Very true. I agree with Frank. The FRC was the first C5 to really get me excited. I had to have one.

Great looking toy, too.

Only $375, and they are a limited production.

I fell for the lines of the FRC when I first saw one. I bought a Torch Red one and have been enjoying it ever since

You could always take it to McJack.

I agree! The FRC is the best body design on the Vette!

McJacks sells Vettes out in LA somewhere. Every car he gets his hands on that might need sprucing up gets a black paintjob, regardless of original color. Funny!

He's sort of the California Corvette version of Cal Worthington, or for those with earlier memories ... Ralph Williams in the little old town of Encino! Those guys sold the 8 year old cars with 10,000 miles driven by school teachers.

OK....what's his address. I'll pack it up in a box and mail it to him.
