Ball and Socket Exhaust Connectors

This is for my 70, but since it does have an LS1/6 motor in it I thought I would try here. You guys seem to be pretty good at hot rodding so someone here may have some experience with these.
I have been thinking about getting a set of these for my current exhaust setup. Anyone using these and are you happy with the results of them. I have 3 inch collectors and 2.5 inch exhaust. The setups I have found are either 3 inch or 2.5 inch only. Any ideas on this? Thoughts are appreciated.

Re: Ball and Socket Exhaust Connectors

Get the 3" set-up and reduce down to 2.5" after the collector. 3x2.5" exhaust reducers are very common and can be easily welded up to fit your existing 2.5" system after the collector.

Thanks for the tip Jimbo. Would you happen to know of a good source for these connectors? I have found them at Bassani while doing a google search. But they do not have a combo size like I think I want.

Eddie,
Check at your local auto parts stores, (NAPA, Autozone, Checker, etc.)
Just look in the exhaust section and I'll bet they have the reducers you need, or you can always check the local muffler shops. Hope this helps.
