Lightbulb C3 Stingray with LS6/LS7 engine.

Hi.

As per title. Is this conversion feasible?

Cheers
T.

I don't see why not. Just depends on how much work you are willing to do.

Btw, I have an LS6 engine and a built T56 for sale.

Hi.

In my homeland labour isn't very expensive.

How much for the engine and gearbox? PM me please.

Procharger put up some pics of a '67 Vette (last year of C2, I think) with an LS6 in their booth as the SEMA show.

SEMA photos enjoy

Re: C3 Stingray with LS6/LS7 engine.

I saw one at Carlisle. It looked good!

Also, a buddy has a '67 with an LS2 and a tube frame with C4 suspension. Quite a car, but he spent a lot of $$$$ to get it right, and it is beautiful.

Re: C3 Stingray with LS6/LS7 engine.

This is a conversion I am going to be doing to my 70 this winter. I have an 02 LS1 from an SS camaro with 22k miles. I have pulled the 241 heads and they are being replaced by a set of 243's with Patriot Gold springs. I have a G5X2 cam going in. Ported throttle body and MAF. I had this planned for a long time. Then I picked up my 02 Z06 and the speed in this this car makes me think the 70 is going to be scary fast.

Re: C3 Stingray with LS6/LS7 engine.

In addition to the engine I think a tube frame with its suspension change is essential. All that power in a 60's technology chassis..what would be the point. I have a 64 and you would not want to change just the engine.

Re: C3 Stingray with LS6/LS7 engine.

Got my valve springs and pushrods in this week. I should start assembling my engine Sunday. I am excited about this one. I already have the cam installed.

Re: C3 Stingray with LS6/LS7 engine.

Anything you can do to a C2, you can usually do to a C3 since the frames are so similar. Looking forward to seeing how this comes out!
