Got my new Sparco Evo/Evo2 today!

Finally..Bought them day after Christmas, just got them today. They are red/black leather on the outer edge with suede in the center removable sections...

what do you guys think? i got them for free pretty much. sold my stock seats and bought these with that cash. heck of a deal...

One is the Evo and the other is the Evo 2. i fit in the Evo 2 perfectly and the gf fits in the Evo perfectly, what can i say, match made in heaven...

lower pictures show them mounted in the car. as you see, the roll bar on the door interferes with the shoulder pad of the seat. i can either "massage" bend it or just not have the cage in. i dunno, what do you guys suggest i do?

Great looking seats! They should hold you in with no problem!

Looks good. Do you have harnesses to go with them or will the stock seat belts work? Will they change the seat height at all (headroom)?

Sparco said that the stock belts will work fine, but will be a lil bit tedious to use. i do have a Simpson 5pt harness though, so its not a big deal.

seat heaight, i am not sure, i will post up pics when i put them in later today.

mounting rails are the sparco adjustable side brackets with MOMO double slider brackets. they work quite nicely i must say!!!

Well, my guess is that you have seats and belts and a roll bar 'cause you track the car ... so you need the roll bar ... any possibility of canting the seat a bit on the mounts to fit? Otherwise ... you gotta modify the seat ...

How much do they weigh? They look good. I'm guessing they're fiberglass?

Re: Got my new Sparco Evo/Evo2 today!

i think they weight about 30lbs (with brackets). definitely lighter then stock, by a LOT!!! they are fiberglass.

as for the cage and fitment issues, i believe my only option is to notch the shoulder flap where it interferes with the bar. this is the only way it will fit my car.
