What’s the difference between Corvette C4 or C5 or C6 or Z06?

I am new to this forum and totally unaware of the Corvette family of cars. Just for the first time, would like to know what had been different in C4 or C5 or C6 or Z06. Please do pass on some web links too which I can study by my own.

C1 - '53 to '62

C2 - '63 to '67

C3 - '68 to '82

NO '83 Model Year Corvettes, officially...

C4 - '84 to '96

C5 - '97 to '04

C6 - '05 to current

Z06 (in it's "current" version) - Coupe only, '01 to present, upgraded suspension and driveline, HD 6-speed manual trans. only...NOT built in MY '05
