Great pics George. At least some people are driving their ZR1's. Those wheels on the Grand Sport look interesting.

How much are the Gransports going to sell for? Are they the same body as a ZO6?

Re: ZR1 & Grand Sport at CF Cruise-In

I don't believe that GM has announced the pricing of the new Grand Sport yet..

Cool little brother to the Z06 and ZR1.

Indeed the pricing hasn't been announce yet, and I believe the rear fenders are the exact same as Z06, but the front fenders, although sharing the same flare as Z06 are distinctively Grand Sport with the GS wording and the 3 slots. You should be able to google some close-up pics to see exactly what I mean! Oh, and the front fenders are supposed to be standard SMC instead of carbon fiber as it is for Z06 and ZR1.

Re: ZR1 & Grand Sport at CF Cruise-In

Geoff's right...the cost factor on the body work should be minimal.

The Z06 brakes and dry sump oiling system should be the largest contributing factor in cost for the Grand Sport..

I'd suggest(if GM marketing asked?) a 5 grand increase over the base Z51 coupe costs(previous year) for the basic Grand Sport option....with an additional grand for the heritage package...

Just a guess though and we'll have to wait and see what the value of the grand sport model is as it rolls out.

Re: ZR1 & Grand Sport at CF Cruise-In

I am guessing 70k for a loaded 3LT Gransport. A loaded Z-51 C-6 is already 62k.

Returned home from the Cruise-In this afternoon, and found out GM has not yet released 010 prices.

Will the bankruptcy judge let Government Motors make Corvettes in 2010?

The judge has nothing to do with future vehicle production. If you are an investor, then you care about what the judge does.

Yes the 2010 Corvette will be produced.
