Tesing Mti Racing's 454 In Canada

Hey guys,

Reese just got back from testing our first customer 454 w/ a close ratio six speed and 3.90 diff. It is a 2007 Z from Canada. The track it was tested on is Circuit Mont Tremblant in northern Quebec. The test was a wonderful success!!! Feedback from Reese stated that the engine was extrememly powerful and very quiet. No unusual noises of any kind. There have been some wondering of oil consumption but that wasn't an issue this past weekend. Temps and pressures stayed right where they sould and the engine was just as smooth as can be. As far as the trans/diff combo, it performed just as expected. Shifts and engagement were extremely smooth and the rev splits were perfect. The racing diff had no unusual whine and accelerated very smoothly. Both diff and trans stayed right in the safe zone. The driver of the car said that he had never driven a faster, more powerful car. He was able to drive every corner in a higher gear, which means he could enter faster, corner faster, and exit faster, all while keeping stress on the engine to a minimum. It appears so far that the MTI Racing 454 package is the way to go if you want the ultimate in street/track performance.

Sounds like a great set-up. Is that with the LSX block?

Disregard.

I just read on your web site where you're using the LS7 block for the C6 and C5R block for the C5.
