So, does this mean that there will be a 3LZ package with leather wrapped ebony/ebony interior??? Anyone have pics to share??

I am ready to pull the trigger on a new Z06, and want to make sure that I get the right interior for my liking!!! Don't want to pull the trigger prematurely with an 08 if they do a full black leather option in 2009!!!

Thanks!!

WOW!! What a power plant.

For the 3rd gen ZR1, to address the injector dynamic range issue, rather than relying on two injectors per cyl., like on the LT5, the LS9 uses a three
step, adjustable fuel pressure scheme with the "fuel system control
module" controlled by the ECM

God I hope it isn't that high. I don't want to sound negative but I hardly think it is worth 100k. JMHO.

Re: 2009 and ZR1 Latest Information

I heard the following for 2009 Z06 also, not sure if its 100% accurate:

Z06 specific sill plates
Power trunk hatch pulldown
Interior accent color is on dash and doors too along with seats
As mentioned, the chrome surrounded badges
As mentioned, variable steering, though not sure what the difference between that and the speed-sensitive steering on the 08 and before is

Considering the deals on the 08s I ordered one and if I want those features that badly I'll buy the parts :-)

Hello Kyle,

Yes, there is a black-on-black 3LZ package for 2009. But somehow GM decided to offer it early on 2008's as well, so you can contact you friendly local Chevy dealership and order it as of right now Or even better, contact one of the supporting vendors!

I got this info from Corvette Conti (can't give link since he's not a supporting vendor, but you should be able to find him easily using Google). Look for his "News and Info" entry for April 14th, you'll see pictures.

That is killer! And exactly the pics I was looking for. TANKS!!! It looks like the center console is either wrapped too, or is painted a dull black. I do like the shiny fake carbon look on the 08 Zs though...

I also hear that PAL will be standard in 2009? Can anyone confirm this? Has anyone used this?? I read that it controls the ipod and a picture fo the ipod comes up on the nav screen (if equiped). Any reviews? I did a search, but it doesn't look like anyone is using it much yet.

Re: 2009 and ZR1 Latest Information

I took a look over the 2009 build sheet... There are NO POLISHED WHEELS offered in 2009 on the Z06!!

New! Spyder design - Silver painted aluminim, Grey painted aluminum, chrome aluminum.

What gives??? Call me a little nutty, but this is a disapointment!
