Hey Paul, haven't seen you around much lately.

Hope everything is going well for you and the folks at work.

Re: 2009 and ZR1 Latest Information

Thanks for adding the new ZR1 info Mark.

Also found out that the ZR1 will not be sold to dealers in Alaska or Hawaii.

Chevrolet will notify their dealers of their ZR1 allocation the first week in June.

No dealer will get just one. If a dealer qualifies for allocation they will get a minimum of two ZR1's.

"Will we see ZR1 specific options be made available for the Z06, i.e. carbon ceramic brakes and Michelin tires?"

"There are no plans at this time." - Tadge Juechter

The PAL is supposed to be available later this summer.

Personal Audio Link

It allows you to connect an iPod for example to the cars head unit. It isn't available for the Corvette yet but is for some other GM vehicles.

Re: 2009 and ZR1 Latest Information

Wow.. speculated at 125K! No offense, but if you can afford 125K for a corvette I am amazed you are corvette forum junkies. I figure with a bankroll like that, you have a stable of Ferrari's, Porsche (turbos), and maybe a Ford GT somewhere in there. Or maybe you already own those too..

I love the car, but mind you C5 Z06's are apparently a poor man's car at ~25K now. Well, I'm happily watching C6 Z06's barrel down to the 40's where I can feel comfortable cutting a check for.

Same here. I'm watching the market and I think I should get a good deal on one ('07-'08). That gives me time to take care of a few things while I wait.

Yes, I'm one of those forum junkies, but don't have a stable of exotics.
Like most car nuts would love to have a Ferrari or a Ford GT. Given the choice, I decided on spending my dead presidents on Corvette brand.
