The above is a rendering of what the C7 might possibly look like. While hanging out at the garage this morning (as I do every Saturday morning) we got a call from a very reliable source that stated that this rendering is very close to what the C7 is expected to llok like...
I really like it, what do you guys think...

Isn't this just a different version of that one blue "Sting Ray" photo floating around? I like the body lines, but not fond of the mirrors. They look too small. But their shape is ok.
Need to see rear fascia.
Not to mention it needs a few decals. Hahahaha

Seems that this proposed version of the C7 takes on the same sharp and cutting lines of Cadillac CTS and Chevrolet Camaro. I am assuming that their performance vehicles are going to carry this theme while their passenger cars are going to be a little more subtle in design.
Yeah Some CTS flava in the front and it's kinda ok, I say keep it ! if the butt is proper Corvette. Lose those space Twinkie side mirrors tho. The Color is different & kinda nice once you spend time with it,If it was black I can see this car as the next Batmobile.

Too angular IMO and they need to lose those fugly mirrors! I would also need to see what the rear end looks like before I would make any decision on the looks of the entire car. Really don't make any difference because I won't be selling my C5 anytime soon.

C5 Beauty 4evr .. ya mee too ..tho this is a cut or 3 above the the C6
I like it, but it doesn't look very different than the Sideswipe concept that we've seen a gazillion times already. It seems to have incorporated C6 lights (stretched slightly) and C6 door handles. The grill is painted black and the body is painted gold, but other than that there doesn't seem to be too much difference. Maybe that's the point, I dunno.
If I might be slightly critical, one thing that I really dislike is the recessed pockets on each side of the grill. It does not look attractive at all, IMO. As someone else stated, it looks like the car is giving birth to another car.
One other thing is kind of bothering me. If I owned the car pictured above, I think I would eventually get tired of people calling it, "that car from Transformers". I realize this is only a concept, but still, the Camaro turned out pretty close to its concept, which was also in Transformers. In any case, I'm sure they will ultimately do a good job on the C7. They've never made a truly ugly Corvette.

I thought the same way, but if those are brake cooling vents that would be a lot of air to hit the front brakes (a good thing).

I agree, it would be a great thing.
But the positioning of the duct opening in the silver picture doesn't look optimal to me. From the picture, it seems that the ducting points directly at the tire tread. Wouldn't it have to "dog-leg" around the tire as it stands right now? This is one reason I think (or hope) that the front fascia will change for the production model.
