Perhaps you don't live near an area were anything less than 430 Lexus is considered average. i happen to be smack dab in the middle of some of they wealthiest Floridian cities. I don't live in one.... i'm middle /middle class. Got the Z in a fire sale...
I don't live in That KIND of Hood...But i'm right down the road from where Alot of the south florida money Cities are.......and believe me....those Vipers , the 360's those Gallardo's i run into daily along with the oh so common 911 turbo , are usually hauling butt. Not wide out..but not putting around.
The Zr1 its hopefully not gonna be in the garage. This car is not exactly a grocery getter. I think the faster and more expensive a car is the higher the likelyhood that they overnight in te garage....but the Zr1 with drop beloww 100k and you'll start to see more of em..If GM keeps it together ( a whole other story) Zo6 are being kicked to the driveway for there big brother Zr1...But i think its still a ride that you want people to see you in. Therefore it see's alot of air.
It would be shame if your were totally right. America finally steps up to the europeans and japanese. Funning how all the cool cars come from the old AXIS powers , defated in WW2
I rotate which car i drive....my lowest whp car the 04 GTO is 471
My 06 edges out my Z by a few but the weight makes it irrelevant
My cars seem average around here....10 years ago these HP numbers would be all badass. Not now. TT this S/C that. Factory ratings of 600hp for the viper...imagine...it went up 200 hp since it came out.. Ands its relatively a new name in the American game
Where i am...i see alot of Hipo cars.
When my Vette/GTO buddy came down fom PA. he commented to me he never saw so many high end cars on the road.....he was here for a week!
.
Thats the advantage/disadvantage( sometime its good..sometimes i wish i had the road to myself) of a tightly packed metropolis... as southern florida has become......the further south...the more tightly packed.
But theres alot of money in gainsville , tampa, palm beach, south beach,
and Miami in general....as well as varias parts of Ft lauderdale..
Coral springs..Parkland..and with that money , i seem to see alot of exotics are on the road.
I garage my Z...so when i do go out its showroom clean...i don't think its a queen though.
