Thanks, Don ... well, when they find out what a bad job I do on windows they might be looking for more competent help :bang:
I've only had the car out three times since we put in the shifter; last time was coldest and I couldn't get it into first until it warmed up. So ... I may have to appeal to your good offices to make a small adjustment. (I'll also be getting a set of plugs and wires sometime and be looking for some supervision there. ...

I really need to get it out soon and see if I need immediate adjustment. I'll be in touch! :ity:

Try this when cold. While your sitting at a light/ stop sign. Go for second and then move up to first from there. Does it go in better? Also a slight blip on the throttle works good when warm. I have the same issue from time to time. Maybe one of these days when I have some time I will check to see if the rod has moved any in the torque tube area. Let me know if this helps. No problem on the plug/wire thing but you do the bending over for that job. My back hurt for a couple days after I did mine. Next time I will raise the car to knee level
