Is this poll an indication of what is wrong with our economy? It seems the majority of high priced car owners these days - including Z06 owners seemingly living large by any standard - are in the "under 40" category. Heck, I couldn't afford my first Corvette until I was at least in my 40s, and even then it was a stretch.
Corvette marketing demographics usually specifies that *WE* are more likely "middle aged" - albeit, "new" Corvette purchaser/owners, with six figure incomes. I don't buy the latter, although a decent income of say at least 60k/yr, would seem fairly applicable. However, based on this poll, which may be atypical of the norm across the full spectrum of owners, the average age of owners is DROPPING!
Frankly, I don't know how so many younger owners do it. As much B4B that these cars have, they still ain't very cheap, whether new or used! When I was in my 20s and even 30s, all I could afford to drive was a basic A-to-B, slug-like car for well under 20k.
Maybe, I should of finished college.
