No second childhood for me. I haven't left the first one yet. At 49, if people think this is my mid-life crisis car, let 'em. I bought my first Vette at the age of 25, and have had one or more ever since.

19 I paid for every dime of it. No help what so ever. Hard work does pay off. Insurance kinda kills me though. I tough i would be the only one this young with a ZO6. But, looks like some parents have some money

I'm 24 (drive like I'm half that) and can't believe how many people in may age group own a Z06... I'm also wondering if my fellow 20 something year olds get as many looks from law enforcement officals as I do? Amazingly enough I have yet to be pulled over... guess I'm just very lucky.

Yes, same here. This car is a tremendous cop magnet like few. Especially with a 29 year old driving it. They KNOW I bought this car to mess around in it. I feel guilty just sitting in it in front of a cop sometimes. If you get pulled over, there is NO WAY you can look innocent in this car.

Like you, I have yet to be pulled over in either of my Corvettes (and I've owned the '70 since I was 21). I chalk it up to pure luck and just a bit of skill in spotting cops from far away and knowing when to horse around and when not to. I know my luck will run out sooner or later though. The way I look at it, its not a question of if I'll get a ticket in the Z06, its a question of when.

I think they are just jealous of us 20 somethings. They like to think they have the fastest vehicles on the road. I can't wait to bring it out to Colorado to show my dad and his PD buddies to get their reactions.
