Zip, F1's..................
To date, there is no real choice....as far as a total DRY performance equal.
Wet/Dry, I would go with the Pirrelli P Zero's...........

Forgot to mention, my intended usage would be daily city and interstate travel, not for auto-x or drag strip, just your everyday street tire.

Zip

If I'm on a budget... I would look into the
new Kumho MX....I've been using Kumho's Supra
712 and very happy with it... it has about 90% of
other higher priced brands dry traction, low noise and
good comfort for less than 1/2 of the price. The MX
model is suppose to be a step up of the 712.

Tirerack recently tested Kumho's MX against Michelin
Pilot Sport and BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD on both
dry and wet track. Here are the result printed on
SportCompactCar magazine.

Dry
=======
Best Lap Time:
Mich: 30.594
BFG: 30.246
Kumho: 30.817

Avg Lap Time:
Mich: 33.492
BFG: 32.69
Kumho: 33.07

Wet
=======
Best:
Mich: 32.053
BFG: 32.63
Kumho: 32.901

Avg:
Mich: 34.096
BFG: 34.593
Kumho: 34.643

I think Kumho is pretty good yet costs considerably
less. Hope this helps.

I do not drive mine when it is wet, so the F1's are super. If it was my daily driver, I would find the best all-weather.....

Goodyears, American made, made for the car, lightweight. Stay away from the brand called "Maypops". :cool:

My stock original tires perform well on wet roads, and dry roads. They are only a problem when you have a hard rain. I have yet to find a wide performance tire that performs well in a driving rain. I had two different sets of tires with my 1996 Dodge Viper GTS and neither performed well in hard rains.
