Hey Roush, you've got that Torch Red beauty lookin' good! Your side pic looks great without the side mouldings...I made the dealer take mine off before I accepted the car when it came in. Keep it clean

I've been using the Zaino line for quite some time now, on the Z. I was also using it on my other car (BLACK G35 Coupe) and felt it attracted too much dust, and I didn't really like the fact that it didn't leave a deep, wet shine inherent in carnauba based waxes.

So, I decided to do a little research, and have since come up with a new game plan for the G35, and if I like the results, I might apply the same stuff to the Z.

Of course, both cars have been clayed. The new stuff consists of Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo (the lubricity of this stuff is great...perfect for a black car), Klasse All-in-One pre-cleaner/polish and Klasse Sealant/Glaze to apply over the All-in-One. These products are very easy to use....wipe on, wipe off. They are acrylic, not carnauba. This will give me the desired durability and protection I need. On top of this, I will be applying Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax for the depth and wet shine Zaino always left me wanting. It will be the best of both worlds.

I think this combination of products will be outstanding. I'm not sure if it would be worth it on my Machine Silver Z, but on the black G35, I think it will be the way to go.

Since this thread was started, Meguiars's has introduced their new NXT Tech Wax which blows everything else on the market away! I have tested it against the other top waxes/polishes and it comes out deeper, clearer and with no swirls and fine scratches usually found on black paint. Plus, it is much easier to use. Tested against Zaino, Pinnacle, other Meguiars products, Zymol, Menzerna, and 3M products. After 40 years of detailing and trying everything on the market, I have finally found something that can make black look awesome. Of course, it works great on all other colors too!

Bob

Yeah...I'm a NXT convert also. This stuff is great. It is easy to put on and really easy to take off. I used it on the car about a week ago and then washed the car off on Friday...I didn't have to dry it...I drove it home and it still looks great.

Just used the NXT from Meguires this weekend. Very easy to apply. A little harder to get off completely. I kept turning the towel again, and again, and again! Nice results though.

After using Zaino I didn't think anything could match it but my local supplier of Zaino quit selling it so I tried Meguiars NXT spray wax and really like it. I put it over the Zaino and it works and looks as good if not better.

That is too funny because I have a silver G35 Coupe and a black Z06. You have a silver Z and a black G35 Coupe.

I kinda think P21S, is alittle better than Zaino's. On Black that is. I have used most erverything out there. Not on my ZO6 but on other cars. P21S went on easier, came off easier, and left a shine on my car like it has never had. I use to sue Zaino's, And still will.

How much did you sue Zaino for and did you win?
