GYF!SC stockers (three sets - street, track, AutoX; planning on a set of Nitto 555r2 on track wheels for track as I still drive to track; thinking of BFG KDW2 for street.

I use the F1's on the street, I just bought R2's for track days.
I have used the R2's twice and am very happy with them. They are consistant, they are much better on the track than the F1's, and you can drive to the track.
Just got some Nitto 555 RII's. Clear cornering improvement over the stock tires.
In hindsight, I wish I'd bought the NT01s, but I did not know about them at the time
*Edit* - they should use some higher performance tires like this as the EOM tires. Just think about all those magazine tests done on the stock car - it'd post better lap times, better acceleration numbers... seems like a huge "benchmark" win, and it's supposed to be a high performance car, so who cares about sacrificing some tire life in the name of performance...

They've lasted about 9K miles right now, they are bald 75% across. I drive hard on the streets, these tires have never been raced with the exception of going to the drag strip once and no burnouts btw. I bought them as is, not shaved or heat cycled. If you do they do last a little longer, but not by much. With a tire as soft as these, R Compound, 6/32" tread they will not last long. Especially if you drive aggressive on the street especially with the power the Z's put down. They just don't last period.
