Not great dry traction, not very "sticky," poor tread-wear. (9/32 when new?,) poor in rain and cold... Otherwise, I love them!
I want more "stick" and better tread-life. I am all for the tire pressure monitors but the EMTs, IMHO, compromise every other area of the tire quality and performance. I thought I would try the new Pole position tires. Any feedback?

Are you talking Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position?
I think you can get them in C6Z06 front sizes but not rear ...
I know a guy who has them on a C6 Z51 (in C6 sizes); uses as autox and time trials (for classing purposes wanted a tire close to but not below 110 on UTQG rating.
As for the F1SC's ... I've used them for nearly five years as a street and track tire ... (bought take-off extra rims with tires on them, so used up the tires as I gained track experience on street tires. They come new at 8/32" so less thread squirm when new; they are non-directional, so I can flip them side to side; they are predictable in the dry when heated up. However, they lose "stick" as they age; they will aquaplane quicker than the PS2's for sure ...
That said ... I now run Nitto 555RII's street and track ...
Yes, I am referring to the Bridgestones. they are now available for front and rear OEM sized for the C6 Z06. I do not know anyone who has used them. There are some brief comments about them on Tirerack. Where did you get the Nittos?

Got the Nittos from supporting vendor Discount Tire ...
I could not find any tires, other than OEMs, on their websight!
Correct ... they don't make the competition-rated tires in C6Z rear sizes.
Invo's are due out in OEM ~ rear but not available now.
I have the 555RII's in C5Z 1+ sizes ...
stock Goodyears, can't wait to slap some Kumhos on her,,,,it's all i'll ever buy from now on.BFG's are dangerous.I had a blowout on my right front and tore up my car 2 years ago.Never ever will drive anything with them on it anymore. It was a good tire,no blems, decent age and SIDEWALL RIPPED OFF LIKE A RECAP

I replaced the original GY's with the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A PP RFT's and they hooked better, were quieter, and are lasting longer. (GY's were replaced w/8000 mi. (rears) and were getting dangerous!) I have been very pleased w/ the PP's. Good price at TR. I have app. 13,000 mi. on the rears and they still have good tread (app. 30-40%). They have about 15 passes on them at the Drag Strip and have given me very good service. I just replaced the fronts w/these and have pulled 1+G's (according to HUD) with them on good pavement. I know these are RFT's, but I have never ran a non RF.
We'd love to get suggestions on what is the "best" Ultra or Max Summer Tire available these days. We love Dunlop Star Spec Z-1's on our other cars, but they aren't available in our sizes. By "best" I mean the Street Tire that would be best for occasional Street Tire class SCCA Solo racing ...
