Well, after a long debate on exhaust for the past year, I finally decided on the Corsa Indy's for the 01 Z. The decision was based on the fact that I wanted a somewhat exotic sound and a screamer at WOT. Reports of resonance on the PRT's finally clinched my decision (though I hear that they have resolved this issue since).

We had Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg install them and as usual, an excellent job was done with a perfect alignment and all bolts torqued properly. See our Pit Road feature for more info on Tony's.

Not much needs to be said for exhaust except that the Corsa's sound awesome, quiter than stock at idle and cruise but they really wake up when you put your foot in motion. I did not notice any WOT increase in power though I must say that their seemed to be a slight gain in midrange torque as I seem to be using 5th less on the highway when passing. I do have the Halltech TRIC intake mod of that makes any difference. With headers I'm sure this would probably be reinforced.

Anyway, if you're looking for something to wake up your 01 Z (the 02's don't need any help in the cat back portion of the exhaust IMO, unless you wish to raise the dead) I strongly recommend the Corsa Indy series cat back system.
