Hello From Dallas

Hi Folks,

I bought a 16 Z06/Z07 8A 2 weeks ago, it is white with 3LZ red interior. This is my 2nd Vette and I absolutely love it! My first was a C5 back in 1998.

I can't believe all the technologies and gadgets that comes with this car for under $100K. I love the PDR and head-up display! I have 2 Italian cars and they don't even come close in terms of advanced technologies that are in C7.

My goal is to track the car, I am attending Eagles Canyon Raceway this Saturday, Ron Fellows school in Dec 9-10 and then Corsa Vita event in COTA on Dec 16-17.

Re: Hello From Dallas

1st picture shows the car without ground effects. Dealer couldn't find them and issued a refund, bought them from Caravaggio in VCF and had them installed yesterday (2nd picture).

Yes, it is but I think the Z06 is more nimble and maybe quicker on the track than my Aventador. I am going to Eagle Canyon Raceway tomorrow to track the Z06. I will give you my feedback then, I have tracked the Aventador on the Texas Motor Speedway.

I would appreciate your feedback, others as well I would imagine. It would be nice to know how a +400k car stacks up against +100k car. I know what the magazines say, but, it's always nice to hear it from the horses's mouth.

Pictures would be awesome!

Given my limited experience with Z06, I think it is as fast if not quicker on the track than my Aventador.

Although Aventador has a quicker 0-60 and higher top speed, it is about 400+ LB heavier and it only has 508 lb-ft torque.

I am going to Corsa Vita in COTA in December 16th. Most guys are bringing their Lambos, Ferraries and Mclarens, I am taking my Z06 and I will give you another update after that.

I Love my Z06 and am so impressed with it, I can't believe you get so MUCH car for around $100K.

Re: Hello From Dallas

Thanks for posting the video. I know you must have had a lot of fun out there on the track. Having the ability to record your data and video is a great tool for helping you analyze how you are doing. I would definitely want that option if I had a new Z!

Looking forward to how your track session goes when your up against the "big boys"!

Re: Hello From Dallas

Every generation of Z06 has done extremely well up against it's competition - even though it is often $100k (or more) less expensive. I would expect the C7Z to carry on that tradition.

Re: Hello From Dallas

I tracked the car yesterday on Motor Sport Ranch. The car feel like it is on rails! There were 3 other C7 Stingray and another C7Z.
