Re: New guy from NYC.
Welcome to and congrats on the C5 Z06. Originally from Jersey, but used to go over to Queens a lot back in the day, to watch the street racing that went on over there big time in the late 60's & early 70's.

Welcome!! My company is based out of Lake Success, and I've been up there a couple times. I've only driven through the suburbs, and I did see a few cool cars. I remember the first time I drive on the LIE and the parkways, with its twistiness and half-clover exits, I wondered why the speed limit was so low (e.g. 55mph or so). After the GPS flew off the dash when I tried to take an exit at 50mph+, I soon discovered why! Not like Texas where you can coast 70mph off the interstate onto an off-ramp!
I did love how people drove out there though--very efficiently. I hope you don't take that c5z into the city! I'm sure it will come back with scrapes!
