Hello all. It's been a while since I have logged in. My call sign is jrd. I own a 2002 Mod Red Z06. I don't drive it too much as I only have 11,000 miles on it.
Moved from Pa. to Florida about 7 years ago. I still love the car and am now using it more since it's worth almost nothing now. I recently had to change the right side fuel pump just because the fuel gauge would jump down to empty after driving a while.
It was just the actual gauge on the pump but it can't be changed on the right side without changing the pump. Other then that no issues since I bought this car in September of 2001 brand new.
I am looking to take an early retirement soon so I am sure the Vette will be out lots more.
One nice thing about Florida, you can almost drive the car 12 months a year except for "Luv bug seasons" that hit twice a year for about 6 weeks in May then September.
You dont want to take your Vette out then as these bugs actually eat through the clear coat. I am looking forward to reading all the interesting posts and learn more about the C6 Z's. Thanks for listening... jrd:gjob:
Welcome back! Now get out there and drive that thang!
