From one z to another!!!

Just picked up my z06 on Wednesday. Had a different type of z before.

This is my first corvette and my first American made car in general. I already have the mod bug and I can't wait to start learning more about the z06. I am coming from a Nissan 350z and a lot of us were swapping in the ls engines for more performance.

I had fun drifting the z but I am ready to move on to bigger and better things. Don't get me wrong I loved and already miss my 350z but looking at my yellow beauty I'm sure it won't take long to move on.

The new z06

All chrome is off the rear and *edited*. Looking forward to owning this z06

Welcome to

I wonder why they put wagon wheels on the z? Those are not the correct wheels that orignally came with the z.

Re: From one z to another!!!

I dont know what happen to the original z06 rims. The guy I bought it off had some replica c6 z06 rims that looked pretty good but he ended up keeping them. These were on the car when I went to look at it.

What size tires are on the car?

Here's a link to the correct wheel/tire combo for the C5 Z06:

Re: From one z to another!!!

Sweet car, but those wheels have to go (ugliest wheels ever put on a Vette IMHO).
Find some real Z06 wheels - or go CCW

Re: From one z to another!!!

Great job! I also just traded my 370Z on a 2006 Z06 with only 5,000 miles on it. I can honestly say that I don't miss my Nissan. The power on the Z06 is just amazing.
