'02 Z06 - Relunctantly must sell Museum Delievered Z06
Have been an active forum member here and a HUGE Z06 fan/owner. Due to some difficult circumstances, I have to sell this awesome, Museum Delivery, Black/Mod. Red Z06, Seq#003330.
Here goes: This car was delivered to me by Adam Boca on Aug. 17, 2001. It is beautiful with 12 coats of Zaino and perfect with NO cosmetic blemishes, no mechanical and no warranty problems of any kind during its 1,500 break-in miles. Never raced or abused. ALL available factory options (the car is registered in this forum).
$4,500 in add-on accessories and performance items to include: Chrome Z06 wheels, B&B Tri-Flo PRT exhaust, HallTech T1 Cobra intake, Hurst Billet/Plus, Trunk Partition, GM Bra, CAGS defeat, Z06 polished exhaust plate, Aluminum gas pedal, Valentine 1 with Remote Display, Rear Bumper Apron, Lloyd's Z06 Torch Red floor mats + Red & Black C5 Velocity Mats, Custom California car cover.
ALL ORIGINAL PARTS ARE PERFECT and have been wrapped and stored in boxes (including the original wheels and titanium exhaust).
This is how an AVID Corvette lover would equip this car after taking delivery. Only the best has been added with advice and help from the most senior members of this forum (especially my St. Louis Bro - thank you Frank C.!).
MSRP was exactly $51,000. I bought for $2K under but with fed. excise and IL sales tax, the total OTD was $52,839.12. Add-in my add-on's and you get an idea of what it could cost you for a new '02 or '03 after tweeking this awesome GM supercar!
I encourage you to shop around..........but you will NOT find a better VALUE for a '02 Z06!
PRICE: $45,250. I am not real PC literate w/attaching email photo's, etc. (so please don't barage me with all those requests) but email me at kencstange@msn.com if interested in this car or call me at 618-624-0406. I'll somehow get pictures to any serious potential buyer.
ONE LAST THING. I am including a COMPLETE custom 3-ring binder with ALL original dealer, factory (including video), AND Museum Delivery documentation, tags, etc. etc. Also have included all known articles about this model including car mag. road tests, etc.
I have tried to honestly describe this incrediably cared for Z06. If you get the idea I had no intention on selling it --- you would be right! But things in life do change. I don't believe in advertising a car of this type on EBay and I wanted to insure our members got an opportunity to at least know my "Z" was for sale.
Because this is such an AWESOME forum, and I have so many new friends here, I certainly intend on remaining active with it's membership! Maybe down the road ---- I can purchase another "Z" !!!!!!
Sorry for the long posting..............I love you guys & gals!!!!!
Regards,
Ken-

Good luck selling the car and hope everything works out. The way you cared for that car, I don't think you'll have a problem selling it. Maybe a forum member with a scanner can scan in a pic and post it for you?
Sorry to hear you have to sell. I was getting close to that myself. Been unemployed since February. Fortunately I just got a job, starts Aug. 5th. Other side of the country, but it's a job.
Hang in there, bro' things have a way of working out.
