VERY FAST!!!! This car mostly sits in my garage. I am in the Navy and barely have time at home to drive the car. It has over 500hp to the crank. On a dyno dynamics, the car dynoed 440 RWHP. On a mustang Dyno, she clicked off 462 RWHP. These are two different types of dynos. Here are the following upgrades:
H/C package and underdrive pulley with Dyno tune $5400
New Spark plug wires $70
30 lbm/hr Bosch injectors $300
1 3/4" long tube kooks headers $875
Kooks high flow cats and X-pipe $650
GLH mufflers (5 inch) $600
Spec 3 performance clutch and flywheel including labor $1600
4:10 gears with a hardened output shaft with labor along with a rebuild of the tranmission to stronger parts and a Stainless Steel shifting fork $4000. The rear end and tranmission only has 2500 miles on it.
Vararam intake $300
Air ducting from vararam to throttle body $150
Hurst short throw shifter with mechanical stops $240
Original Z06 style Chrome rims $1000
I have over 15,000 dollars invested in the car. The H/C package was done by Eastside performance in Wallingford Ct. and the Transmission and rear end by Cartek in New Jersey. The car ran a best of 11.36 @ 124.4 mph in the 1/4mile. The car has 36,000 miles on it. Only minor nicks and a few small scratches on the paint. Barely noticable unless you are up close. I don't know how to post pictures on here. If you send me your e-mail, I will send you some. I am currently in the Norfolk Virginia area. Asking $32,500 or BO.
Nice! Bet the weather's better where you are though!
Can't wait 'til spring around here, so I can drive the Z full time again. Had some good weather a couple of times this winter with no snow or salt... but it's messy right now.
I hate to sell but I am in the Navy and won't be driving it much for the next two years. The car has been dyno tuned at 452 RWHP. It only has 36,500 miles on the car. All work was professionally done by either Cartek in New Jersey or East Side Performance in Wallingford Ct. I have all the receipts. All the work started when the car had 28,000 miles on the car. Always garage kept and I am not a smoker.
Long tube headers and high flow cats and X-pipe by kooks and a GLH muffler system. This car sounds awesome.
H/C package with an underdrive pulley.
Vararam intake and high flow duct to the throttle body
30 lbm/hr bosch injectors
4:10 gears with a hardened output shaft with a new transmission rebuild using a stronger input shaft, servos, shifting fork and clutches.
Spec III clutch installed.
Hurst short throw shifter with mechanical stops
Stock chrome rims with Nitto 555R's drag radials on the back.
Upgraded brakes to slotted disc rotors.
This car is listed on Auto Trader at zip code 23320 in Chesapeak Virginia. I am listing it for $29,500, but since this web site has really helped me out in the past, I would drop to $28,750. I couldn't find my original post so I wrote a new one. I didn't know it would merge with my old one, sorry. I wish I knew how to put pictures on here. I have many pictures waiting to send if anyone is interested. This car should be priced to sell. I hate taking a loss.
I am really intersted in selling this car. If the car is not sold by August, I will keep it. I will take $27,750. This is a steal for whats been done to the car. I wish I knew how to post pictures, send me a private message with e-mail address and I can send you some. I just recently placed this car on Cars.com. There are 12 pictures on there. The zip code is 23320. Thanks!
