Is this cam the same as one in a 01' zo6 vette? Reason I ask is I am wanting to do one in my 5.3l truck and everyone always talks about the 01' ls6 cam. But wanted to make sure the 2004 and 2001 cams where the same. If so I will prob pick the cam and push rods from you. Thanks Thomas

'01 Z06 cam was a lone year grind......'02 - '04 were slightly larger, more duration, one of the things that contributed to the increased power.
I was going to do the same thing to my truck, '04 5.3 Sierra ECSB Z71 but everyone I talked with said it would make it too peaky for pulling. We might have different paths though.
For brute pulling off idle, I ended up going the MagnaCharger route with full exhaust and left the internals alone........for now anyway.

I thought that the fuel rail covers from a Z06 were red? were these painted black?
