Mike,

I was curious which of your cars is the fastest? Have you taken all of them to the track? Please post numbers! Obviously, I'm interested in the ZO6, the ZR-1 368 and the GTS.

Jason......Thanks for the responce!!! As far as track times, I really don't have any, but I'll give you the dyno numbers on all!!!

91 ZR1 SGC 368 434.4 rh & 406.5 rt!! Shift @7100
01 Z06 SGC 500 428.9 rh & 400.9 rt!! " @ 6800
99 GTS 434.8 rh & 486.4 rt!! " @ 5500
95 ZR1 No #'s, it's bone stock!! only had it home a day!!

Now, both the modified Vettes will outrun the Viper!! Reason, the viper runs out of breath way to quick!! The Viper will get them out of the hole cause it doesn't spin at all!! Through the mid range the vettes come on like gangbusters!!

Now, the 368 vs. the Z06!! Well, to be honest I really don't know! It would be one hell of a run!! Even seat of the pants feel is entirely different!!! Both of these cars do the same things very well, but in different ways!! With these two cars it's the best of both world's!!

The Z06 is about 400 lbs lighter, so it probably will have the edge in quickness!! As far as flat out faster, edge ZR1!! I will say, if I'm gonna run a top speed run, I'll take the ZR1 anyday of the week and twice on sunday!!! If it's the middle of the summer, I'd give the edge to the Z06, but if it's in the winter, I'd have to give the edge to the ZR1!!! The LT5 responds to cold air like no other motor I've ever seen!!! Don't get me wrong, the LS6 likes it also, but the ZR1 just responds to it better!!!

I hope this kinda answered your question Jason!!! I'll give you my number and if I can help you in any way, just let me know!! As you can tell I love talkin' cars!!!!

Thanks for the detailed reply! Your answer is about what I guessed. Well...its a beautiful day here in Dallas...so I think I will take the ZO6 out for a drive.
