Bad dealing with Social_Engineer

I tried to deal with him on the roll cage out of his car.
First we talked made a deal so I got a certified Check sent It to him. Then After he got it he backed out because he wanted to try to sell the car on ebay 6 day action but he said that he would keep the check if it was OK with me and after being pissed about him backing out the first time I said OK so know a week later and his car did not sell. He said OK I will get it out and send it to you Know It has been another week and I get mail from him saying the deal is off again and he is sending my check back even though he I'm sure he is a nice enough guy I wish he would figure out what the F@#K he was doing before he put's it up for sale and waist my and every one else time

I guess he is not leaving the forum but I guess he is keeping his car just wish he would have not taken money until he new what he was going to do but at least he is sending my money back

Why the angry protest? He didn't take your money and not give you goods.

Sure you are disappointed - but, hey it's just a roll-cage.

Common sense says a sale is not a sale until the goods change hands - and until then no harm is really done if the money is returned - right?

I did not crucify the guy.but thought my post was at the level of anger I felt for him telling it was mine twice and backing out taking money for something he was not sure he was selling

From my understanding, Social Engineer took his money and sat on it while he decided what to do. Totally uncool, IMO. I'd be pissed, too.

Social hasn't told his side of the story, but if it came down like this I would be pissed off too. You put something up for sale, someone agree's to the price - it is sold when you take the money. Yes, he sent it back, so he is not a thief, but this is not the best way to handle yourself.

i think he is keeping the car now..
...if you dont get your money back ..then be PISSED.. otherwise.. lighten up..
none of us want to sell.. things get mixed up.. and confused..
