Borla's not your cup of tea?! Too loud? Resonance?

To make a long story short, I put an X-pipe on my car a couple of weeks ago. Car was way to quiet, and seemed to be down on power. So, I thought I would go with the Borlas, and get my power back. Car sounded great with the X and the Borlas, but still a little weak. After 4 days of use, I reinstalled the H-pipe( stock) and left the Borlas on. Power was all there, but too noisy on de-accelaration. Great sounding exhaust, but I do not like all the "back-firing" going on on de-accelleration. As far as resonance on the hi-way, there was none. Fit was very good. If I had not installed the X-pipe( to gain a few more ponies), I would not have changed the mufflers. I love the way the car sounds with the TPIS headers( no pre-cats) . Sounds much like a stock 02 car. Hope you gives you the answers you need . Baron
