Buying from:

I've ordered parts from Ecklers and that was 13 Sept 02. Still don't have the parts. I've talked to others and they say the same thing. Terribly slow ! Whass up wid dat ?

Anyone else with the same problem

C5 Performance was almost as bad !

ZIP, They are by far the fastest in the delivery business thus far.

Sorry to disparge the others, but I'm not a patient man when it comes to buying toys & accessories.

Dealt with Eckler's a few times...other than an item backordered everynow and then...no problems

Personally I'm getting tired of dealing w/Ecklers. Seems like more times than not the item is "backordered" or a "drop-ship" item. They rarely have the items in stock that I am looking for. The latest one was a shift knob ring for an A/O Engineering shifter knob. I went there to get it and of course it was a back odered and was told that it would ship directly to me. That was at the begining of November. I inquired about it around the 18 of November and was told that it was definately shipping on the 20th and I should have it within a few days. Well, I still haven't seen the damn thing. I sent them an e-mail over the weekend and I got a response today that it has been sitting in their store waiting for me to pick it up! WTF? That's F'd up for two reasons. First, it was supposed to be shipped to me. Second, if it has been sitting in their store waiting for me to pick it up (yea right), why wouldn't someone have contacted me to tell me this? Well, I just replied to their little story and am waiting for a response as to whether or not they are now going to overnight the item since they really screwed this deal up. I like the fact that Eckler's carries a lot of items, but I do think that they need to stock more items that they sell. Let's see if they can redeem themselves.

Just emailed Ecklers yesterday and had to raise hell to get my money re-credited to my credit card. They just emailed me and said they will put the money back and were sorry for the inconvenience. Well, it was inconvenient because till now I couldn't' reorder the parts I wanted until I knew for sure that the parts were not "in shipment" again. Now I can order from someone that knows what customer service is.

I will not deal with Ecklers again !

Just got this response: "Ms Stacy, Sorry for the trouble. We did let the item go, and it will be delivered within the next 2 days. Again sorry for the trouble. Please call if I can be of further assistance."

So much for overnight delivery. I'm so glad to see that they did me a favor by "letting the item go." Thanks.

They are rather smug for folks are in error.

New response is: "On No, It will be over night because in Florida we have overnight with Ups. I just dont know for sure were your address is and in some parts in Florida it does take 2 days. For sure I did ship it and in hopes your within the 1 day area. michele"

Sounds fishey to me, but oh well. I guess I'll be getting it w/in a couple of days. At least they are sending it overnight, which is good. If I actually receive it tomorrow, I'll consider it a redemption.

Thats weird. I have been dealing with Eklers for 5+ years now and 4 vettes. Never had one problem. The stuff is usually on my doorstep 3 days after I hang up the phone. hmmm

Just complain aboout the problem. hey screwed up an order of mine and ended up sending me a $25 gift certificate for my next order. I think my order total was about $150. Still haven't used it, but I'm sure I will someday.

Supposedly the problem has been rectified and the part should be sitting on my doorstep when I get home. Like I said earlier, I like that they carry a lot of items, and overall the service has been okay in the past (and the Reunion was a blast), but I just wish that if they are going to sell the vast assortment that they sell, they would carry more of it in stock and track the orders a little better.

I have dealt with them a multitude of times with positive results every time. they have always delivered as promised to me, furthermore their tire prices on Z06 oem cant be beat(correct me if I am wrong).

Apparently I am in the one part of the United States, the part that is 90 minutes from Ecklers, where "overnight" means more than one day. Just checked the front door. Guess what. NO PART!

UPS ground from where they are to you in Daytona should be 1 day. Unless they got it out so late in the day, that the pickup for that day by UPS already occured. Still no excuse! Email back and ask for a tracking #.
