Custom H-Pipe into X-Pipe Conversion

Any opinions on this vs. an aftermarket X-Pipe? I tried this... did very little for the "drone" on the B&B Fusions... too loud for me. For Sale for $1500 if anyone wants them. Just got them installed today...

Re: Custom H-Pipe into X-Pipe Conversion

The X pipe looks good. I will be doing a custom X also. I plan on adding two resonators behind the X in hope of reducing the drone. I don't have an after market muffler system I plan on pulling the fuse on the dual mode stockers.

Link to resonators:

Sorry, this leads to a website address with non suporting vendor advertising

As for purchasing your B&B, well it's just not for me. The cost of some of these after market systems is unbelievable. Not that I couldn't afford them but I just think they are charging a premium price just because they go on a vette and then you still don't get what you want!
If after this mod I still dont like the sound I plan on custom making the mufflers section with some $70 Magnaflow mufflers.

Re: Custom H-Pipe into X-Pipe Conversion

My "custom" X pipe did absolutely nothing for the drone at all! I ordered the B&B X-pipe witht he two resonators built in... they said it should kill the drone completely. We'll see...

Sounds perfect now. Little drone, but not much at all in the "closed" position.
