16Hrs left still cheaper than buying from the stealer, not to mention the harness is included.

Send a message via AIM to wallyman424
kind of misleading at the beginning since the actual HUD unit isnt included, but it does clarify later on.

The part is now $102.50 on ebay. You can buy this part from GMPartsDirect.com for $62.50. Watch what you buy on ebay, you may be paying to much!

Hi Joe,

Let me answer that question since I spent over six months trying to find the 11 wire connector. What you CAN'T buy from the dealer or anyone else is the wiring harness itself since it is sold as part of the entire cluster. I changed my 2001, which has a HUD capable cluster, but only the harness needed for the dimmer switch. I could buy all parts for the HUD except the harness. The dealer does not have a part number for the harness. They even called GM Parts depot and no luck. I even tried to find the harness through the guys "Model Electronics" which repair the clusters for GM with no luck. You can only hope to find one at a bone yard, but again, will the bone yard guy just sell you the harness without the cluster. If anyone has just the harness I would pay $50.00 for it. So you see, its next to impossible to find one. I hope this answers the question.

John

Thanks John. Now I understand why the EBAY bid is more than you can buy the switch for at GM
