Well, there goes my thread.
Depends on who you ask. I just listed it in the local Autotrader and there are 7 other '04 Vette's (coupes and Z06's) and the average price is $41,200.
The car is immaculate, well kept and not driven hard. You might find one for less, but you'll get what you pay for.

Thanks for the bump Speedratchet.
I haven't had many (only two) inquiries. It's listed both here and on the "other" Corvette board, as well as in the Autotrader and carsdirect.com, http://tinyurl.com/dhhus and will debut in the Sports Car/Antique Trader due out this week.
Even if the price were exceptionally high, which I don't think it is, I've only had low ball offers. I've seen '02's go for more than they wanted to pay, and this car is absolutely immaculate and mechanically perfect, right down to the lug nuts.
A guy called on it last night who got pi$$ed and hung up when I balked at letting HIM take it 100+ miles round trip so his mechanic could check it out.
Oh well, some lucky soul will eventually end up with it. I'm not in a real big hurry to sell -- it's paid for. If wifey and I could only figure out a way to keep it and still buy the property we want in the Ozarks, that lucky soul would be ME!
