Let's see...last year Troy kept calling you when we were blitzed trying to get you to come to BG so it wasn't '09.

'08 I think you came late to the Fest and left early (don't remember why)

'07 I think some of the Houston crew showed up but can't remember if you were with them.

'06 I think was the year that the whole Houston crew showed up with the air conditioned, car hauling, 18 wheeler.

But I could be wrong on any of this...Makers Mark creates a lot of senior moments

Nope, no big projects right now. Planning to lower my boost a little and de-tune the C5 to make it more streetable and put some miles on it.

Hey Steph, You have good eyes (are they blue?) That is Cameo in the Avatar. You don't know me, my name is Mike and I have been on the forum for about 5 years. I don't post much as you can see but have followed the exploits of the "Houston Crew" for years.....you guys sound like a fun group that knows how to party! I have always been impressed by yours and Cameo's knowledge of Corvette's inside and out, you are true enthusiast's all the way, not just a couple of pretty faces! G had posted some modeling shots of Cameo a few years back so I "borrowed" one for my avatar. I too have recently sold my 2002TR vette as I felt since I have gotten older that I wanted something that could be a daily driver (which the vette was not) more luxurious, but still with some punch.....kinda like what you are looking for with the AMG. Couple of months ago after I sold the Vette I picked up a 2010 Supercharged RangeRover......Love the truck, plenty of Luxury with all the bells and whistles and for 2010, the new V-8 in them and the Jaguar XFR is a 510hp supercharged beast, 0-60 in about 5.0 secs flat with manual paddle shifters with the auto transmission. You ought to check out the Jag while you are looking around, the car is awesome and less weight than the RR, beautiful fit and finish and classy like you! Give me a holler back when you get a chance, good luck on your move........ I hope San Diego works out for you, I have been there on business a few times and once to see the Super Bowl at Jack Murphy Stadium and the city is awesome. Stay sweet, talk to you soon. Mike.

I think the first year I went was in 2005 with G and Cameo ... here is a pic, remember?



IMO, that was the best year of the Fest. We had such a great group all out in the parking lot drunk working on cars. Lane teaching me how to change out my LED's. Good times! I was also there for the next two, but missed the last two. I miss you MIKEY!

And yes ... it's San Diego. I will be able to see Scott ...

Hey Mike ... thanks for chimming in. I just posted (above) a pic of me and Cam from the '05 Fest. Thanks for the props on our knowledge factor. You really have to learn when you race as I am sure you know. I always learned the most when something broke. I was always the girl with grease on her face ... pretty embarrassing

As for the new car ... I will check out the jag, but I really have my heart set on the Black Series. That car is gorgoeus and I could still track it ... like that will happen. The supercharged Range is a sweet ride. My ex has one ... I think it is an '08. If I have one car ... it can't be an SUV no matter how nice. I need to get my adrenaline rush somehow, even if it's punching it in a much slower car than the vette. There is nothing like the vette's response ... and the sound. I will not drive the Z for the fear that I will back out of the sale again. I wish I could have both! PRIORITIES ...
