It is time to find another home for my 2004 Z16 Z06. We have been a Corvette Family for some time now. My wife, my son and I, all Corvette Drivers, have thoroughly enjoyed the likes of the Cruise-In’s in Bowling Green, Corvettes @ Carlisle, local gatherings etc. It has been a shared family passion, and we will always have a Corvette in the family. You can go to Z06CE.COM - Z16 Commemorative Edition Z06 Corvette to see what this car is all about.
I purchased this car from the original owner on June 16, 2006 with 13,666 miles on the odometer. It is now showing just over 20,000 miles. The vehicle ID # is 1G1YY12S445122684. It is the 767th car built out of a total of 2,025. The car has been garaged and maintained flawlessly. Since I have owned the car, there have been no maintenance issues. The 6,000 miles I have put on the car include road trips to Bowling Green, Carlisle, local Corvette Shows and two novice class HPDE’s at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). All systems are in perfect working order.
The exterior cosmetics are in great shape. There are a few very small rock chips in the paint from normal driving. I took great care to cover the nose, rocker panels, and areas behind each wheel the two times I had it at VIR. The interior is perfect as I have a C5 creations lycra center arm rest cover on at all times and Husky brand molded floor liners to keep the carpets free of any dirt or wear.
The only modifications on the car are a C6Z06 shifter with VetteEssentials shift boot and an Elite Engineering gas pedal to match the brake and clutch pedals. I do have the factory body side moldings, stock shifter, and gas pedal for the car. The engine, exhaust, and drivetrain are all OEM stock.
The tires on the car are Kumho ECSTA MX’s in the stock sizes. They were put on the car in July of ’06. They have roughly 5,500 miles on them. There is no unusual wear.
I have all the history information on the car. You will find a clear car fax report on the car. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
^ You don't even wanna know... car went to another shop who fixed all the BS an re-cleared the whole car only to find that there is texture in the base coat from improper application. The first paint job's orange peel in the clear hit it, once we got great flat clera on the car you could se it. So f%^& me in th A-hole I'm having it all done over again. By the time I'm done spending money I could have paid for a Chip Foose paint job... it's been a PITA, but she's in the right hands now of a top notch shop.
Dude... how many cars do you guys have?!? If you know of another "beater" for sale like the one you just bought I'm in the market.
Bump for a family full of Vettes
Haha... well right now we've got 4 C5s My father's Z16, my mother's '99 vert, my '01 Z06, and the community '98 beater POS track rat project. We've got the Panoz GTRA track car too.
I've got the Panoz at my house because I have to room, the tools to work on it, and the trailer. I've got the '98 because we just got it from a guy in P-town who has some high end exotics and was looking to move the car.
I'm sort of the family wrench... my father gets to "arrive and drive" at the HPDEs becuause I do all the setup and work. Now, if he lived in the area then we'd do it together, but they're 4 hours away.
Here's a pic of my mom's '99 vert... can't believe she's had it over 8 years now.
