Ghost Machine for sale

Selling the Ghost Machine.

No reason other then I have done everything I can do to the car and I am looking to start my next project.

I am thinking of fixing up a 1962 corvette.

I have always loved that body style and something about a pearl white/machine accent with an LS7 slammed on HRE's just seems interesting.

I have thought about keeping the z06 while doing the older vette.

- But I barely drive this as it is so it would kind of be pointless to have 2 setting in the garage.

A short video of Ghost Machine at the '07 Z06fest in Bowling Green, KY. 10/18- 10/20/07. 1/4 mile & auto-x

Coverage:

The car is featured as the centerfold in VETTE magainze (Dec. 07' issue) Please ref: GHOST IN THE MACHINE

Car has been featured in a Nitto advertisement spread.

Car has won numerous first place trophies in local car shows in and around the Houston area.

Car is very well known in the online community.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The car is extremely reliable and has been a blast to drive and show.

Price:

Not sure how accurate KBB.com is but this is how I am coming up with the price of the car.

Current private party value of a 2003 Z06 in Excellent condition is

$37,700.00

To match what is done in interior/exterior modification's you will spend more then $50.000.00.

Anyone who has knows these cars can tell you this is a pretty accurate estimate with the work that has been done.

Please note: (receipt upon request I have all documents)

37700est
50000est
-------
$87700est

Subract the 50% rule for modifactions: $25000.00est

37700est
25000est
-------
$62700est

That being said I am asking $59.900

Please also note: For out of state buyers. (in the united states)
I will purchase your plane ticket if you decide to buy the car after review. But I prefer a local sale as I still would like to see it cruise the streets of Houston.

Re: Ghost Machine for sale

Please also take note I will not be selling the car with a buyer out of state that does not come and test drive it first.

This car needs to be driven if the buyer is serious (no tire kickers)

Its loud, Its fast, It gets a lot of attention.

I realize this is alot of money and a risk for a modified car of this caliber.

- I am confident in its reliability but I want to be on the same page with someone who hasn't experienced an 850rwhp z06.

The last thing I want to see is a headline on z06vette.com that my old car that I spent alot of time and money on is wrapped around a tree.

Thank you
Garett

I don't know G, not sure I could handle that type of power but it might be worth a try

Best of luck with the sale, bro. I know you have put a lot of money and time in that project and I suspect somebody is going to get a great machine!

Re: Ghost Machine for sale

Damn G, I would love to have your Ghost Machine especially after all the work you've put into it. If the Blue Devil doesn't fly in January and you haven't sold yet I may be calling you.

Wow! Somebody is going to get one hell of an awesome car. Timid waxers need not apply (that rules you out Mike)
Good luck with the sale G.

Re: Ghost Machine for sale

After you sell it you will be sorry. Just like that 62 excites you now, the memory of this car will haunt in the years to come. I speak from experience, believe me, that is why I will always keep my Z06 and will just add more cars in the future. The money, time, work and experience is already invested and you will never re-coop everything. My $0.02.

Re: Ghost Machine for sale

I know where you're coming from G. Hate to see you get rid of such a nice example of a C5 Z06 but times change, and so do our cars.

Best of luck with the sale!

Gotta go with Cowboy on this one. Keep it G! Sometimes in life you just have to be happy with what you got! Good luck if you let her go. Don

Re: Ghost Machine for sale

I don't have a dog in this hunt ... but to the casual shopper ... I've seen the car in action on the 1/4 and autox course and it is indeed as advertized ...

Garret ... If you must sell ... good luck ... and all the best in your future plans.
