Great move. I too was noticing quite a few of the "one-hit" for sale posters as of recently and it was starting to oversahdow the rest of the for sale posts by the regulars.

You know, I've been a member since 11/29/05. But before that I had a different ID for about 18 months. I couldn't post for some reason on that ID so I created my new persona. Not that I wanted to do a lot of posting. I felt out of place not owning a Z06 yet. But now I do and I will start jumping in more often. I'm just glad I got my car off of this forum in March. Well I better get my count up or I won't be able to sell/buy here.
This is the best Corvette forum on the WWW! We do have the best group of car lovers by far.

No Otto, you can reply to any post. You just can't post a sale in the member for sale section until you have 25 posts.
Remember, we are certainly not trying to discourage new members or limit them in any way other than posting 'for sale' threads until they have reached 25 posts. If we find that this does not discourage the 'one hit wonders' (as someone coined them), we will up the post count requirement to 50 or 100.
Make 'em put down a $1,000.00 deposit until they get to 100 posts. If they don't make it the money goes to a good cause (like the Fest beer fund).
