Fair is fair, if they don't support the site then why use site space to promote their products? I'm with JC on this one. We need supporters and if a vendor is to profit from sales here, then they should do the right thing and sign up and support the site. VaraRam stepped up, as well as others. Share the wealth people, it's good for all of us. Bill
When a member mentions a vendor that happens to be a non-supporting vendor, then it appears that some members may be interested in what that vendor has to offer. Most likely that vendor, like many others, don't know of the sites existence. Instead of alienating these vendors maybe the site should invite them to the join and ask for their support. This site is a means for its members to share information and in the process a chance for the site to grow.
Tony and Tom, very valid points guys but I think you would find that in 99% of the cases, the non-supporting vendor has been contacted in the recent past and has declined or is contacted privately in exactly the fashion you suggest before this type of action is taken.
No support, no free advertising. Not fair to the site, especially to the vendors who step up to the plate and support the site.

I am living on a fixed income - I'll be dipped in sh!t if I'm paying over a $100 more for a friggin exhaust because the dude is a Vendor... You know what ... the guy selling it for $100 less is still making a profit so go figure.
These so called site vendors need to re-adjust their profit margin and start selling for fair and balanced prices ... Stop price GOUGING ... I WILL NOT GIVE OVER A $100 MORE FOR THE SAME PRODUCT I HAVE A FAMILY JUST LIKE THEY DO...!!!
If it's $20 - $25 difference - that's a different story I will throw my business their way every time but anything over $50.00 tells me there's a problem somewhere ... Anyone care to point out to me where I'm wrong on this ...?????? I'm all EARS ... I'd love to hear the explanation of why you should pay $100 more for the same product "cause there site vendors" - come on, come on ...

FEAR THE MIATA
I respect all the pints made here and the people who make them.
We like to support the community and make money...nothing wrong with either, we have bills to pay and Corvettes to drive. If you think we are all sitting around the pool of our mansions, you are quite wrong.
JC and Les also can't run this site for free so we pay to be here as a supporting vendor.
Better yet, maybe some here could take up making the parts and selling them as a vendor and see exactly how the environment is. It's easy to talk about how much profit is out there when you don't make the purchases and resell. Not all buying situations are the same.
We appreciate the support from the members. Thank you!!
