Not impressed by Fred Beans....

I am removing this post. It caused a big stink on the other forum for a problem that was not that big a deal. Don't want the same to happen here...

Not sure what happened with your order, but I've ordered from Gene in the past with a very speedy delivery.

I called and left a message wanting to buy over $1,000.00 in parts. They did call me back the next day. I was not in and they left me a message to call them but did not give me a price. (I had given them the part #s). I called back later that day and left another message. That was a few days ago, and still no return call.

My parts are now coming from another supplier who answered the phone the first time, and took my order.

The first time I dealt with Gene it was smooth as butter and very quick. This last time, took so long to get the part numbers, that I ended up deciding to hold off on buying the items. Norm, just might drop you a PM.

Several months ago i ordered a GM bra without a problem, and before that a set of Durastop rotors and ceramic pads without a hitch. My recent order of a Nissan part through their new website was terrible. Charged my card, order was being processed..... 2.5 weeks go by and when I finally email Gene to see what's going on, he said sorry, it was going to be $95 to ship my $25 part. Now, shipping charges are not his fault, but the lack of communication and charging my credit card before shipping the item, that severely disappointed me. More business than they are capable of handling?
