Now that is a deal. With loyalty rebate it should be around $44,000 -$45,000 for a brand new 2004 Z06.

Rick, man, I hope you stick around for awhile... I will be calling on you when the C6 Z06 (or whatever) comes to fruition.

Guess we won't be seeing any posts from you the next week or so... I hope you sell 'em all.

Rick, I know you're not checking emails for the next several days, but I am just curious to know what is MP's price on any leftover 50th anniversary '03 base model coupes (loaded, excluding extra cost painted exteriors) with the $1k Loyalty discount included? If those are all gone by now, same question on '04 Coupe. TIA.

No "50th's" left or no 03's period? Okay then if we're talking '04's only, I'm interested in a base model "coupe" with 6-Speed Manual Tranny, including SB1 pkg, dual roofs, CD 12 disc changer, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, Polished Alum Alloy Wheels & Front Lic Plate Frame, excluding NCM delivery and extra cost exterior paint. Please price it out for any base model C5 standard color/interior combos.

Since I live in CA (SF Bay Area), please factor in shipping charges from MP to SF Bay Area, like you've done for other West Coast Customers. I'm comparing your (MP's) price to a local dealer's is offering me about $7k off MSRP on a leftover '03 not optioned as a "special edition" 50th coupe (although equipped as above).

TIA.

Please remember their is a $2000.00 rebate on 03 models that are not available on the 04s. Knowing that and needing to ship to west coast I am afade puts me out of the ball game. The best I could do would be about $6700.00 off with the owner rebate and I still have to ship it. The only thing I would say is the 04 will cost you about $2000.00 more but it is a year newer car.

Well, if not for the high cost of shipping to CA, you (MP) would have been in the ball game.

I was half tempted to get on a plane and fly to Georgia, buy and pickup the car, then drive it home to CA. I just cannot afford to take the time off. But "if" I ever did that (C6 Z06 maybe?), I think the NCM pickup option would be the way to go.

As it turns out the usually overly greedy local dealer here near Silicon Valley, has FINALLY started discounting some of their Vette inventory. It's been a long time in coming. And, I guess it is just my luck they have a few brand new '03 still in stock which qualify for the additional $2k rebate. Plus, as you know, GM is currently offering a $1k "Loyalty" rebate. To my surprise the dealer took an additional $3.5k off and gave me top dollar for my LT4 Trade.

The only bad thing is the sudden surge in rebates are mutually exclusive with low rate GMAC financing. I still can get close to 4% APR from my credit union up to 66 mos. The dealer offered 4.49% for same term.

The good news, I can still buy one of the last '03 EB coupes, with all the goodies (in other words, LOADED), and even though it is not the Anniversary Edition, in full 50th paint scheme regala, it still comes with the same logo/emblems on the I/P, hood and trunk lid. I think a 50th car, even w/o the option, is potentially collectibility (25 years from now) and/or *may* have a slightly better resale value if only b/c it's in Electron Blue.

BTW Rick, my local dealer is offering $17.5K for my "stripper" '96 LT4, 38k miles, one owner Coupe (not the popular commerative Grand Sport edition) as a trade in. How does that sound to you? Am I scoring a fairly good deal here in CA?

TIA for your feedback and continuing support of the Z06VETTE forum. YA DA MAN!!!
