I HAVEN'T BEEN ON THIS SITE OR MADE A POST HERE IN 2 TO 6 YEARS. IT SEEMS ONLY APPROPRIATE THEN THAT I RETURN HERE FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN TO SELL MY Z06 OR MY OLD PARTS. AFTER THE SALE I WON'T EVER HAVE TO RETURN TO THE SITE....UNTIL I HAVE SOMETHING ELSE TO SELL.

Re: For Sale
I need some Summer air in my tires. The Winter air is stale and I forgot to put in the spring air. maybe I should just wait for Fall air to come out.
Well if I wait for Fall air I might as well save some money and keep my Winter air for this upcoming Winter.
But if I go to high altitudes then my maybe I should change my sea level Winter air to a high altitude winter air..
OK...my head is about to explode....must be all the hot air
Anyone need any hot humid air with a methane mix...

I understand the need to keep 1-post people away from the for-sale section... But what's the big deal with people coming back for selling? Chances are, a new member will get a nice ride, and THAT in my opinion would be cool

Good stuff!! I was known in a different lifetime to put a few of those down once in a while.....
I think you're just needing to punch up your post count so you wanted to "air out" a bit!
As for the topic...........I really shouldn't comment......I've been guilty over on the other sites of doing the same kind of thing. Well, not years though, but a few lengthy segments.
But while you're posting up........what other good stuff you got for sale now??? J/K

Geoff, you're right, of course. There is certainly a difference between 1-post folks selling things and people coming back to the site just to sell their cars/items.
That is why there are no site rules whatsoever against the latter.
I just find it sad that some folks abandon the site totally for 2, 4 or even 6 years, coming back only to sell their car/items. There has been a considerable rash of this happening over the last 6 months. I just wish these folks would have attempted to remain involved, even to a small degree, with this community during those years rather than just think of us as nothing more than a Saturday morning classified ad venue.
I remember talking to JC (the original site starter) one time when he mentioned that he considered not even having a 'For Sale' section because he was concerned that this forum would become less of a 'community' and more of an impersonal 'swap n shop' over the years.
Fortunately, so many of our active members are so knowledgable and helpful that the site has mostly avoided that syndrome, but it still bothers me from time to time.
I guess it's just the way things are and the way the world has become so there's no use fighting it.
(which doesn't mean that there still won't be the occassional rant on this issue)
I'd include pics MAGS but I don't know how to upload photos to this site
Nevertheless, it is still a terrific bargain. Only 2 miles on the speedo and waxed every other day. Oil & oil filter has been changed 9 times. Had the delivery truck pull up to my driveway so I wouldn't put any miles on it driving home from the dealership.
(btw, to the mods. I am not a vendor trying to slip one in....
