For Sale: 2002 Corvette Z06, Black/Black, 20,950 miles, adult owned and maintained (Houston, TX)
The time has come to let my 2002 Z06 go. I have really enjoyed owning this car but a growing family and general lack of time to enjoy it is the ONLY reason for the sale. The only thing this car needs is somebody to drive it and enjoy it!!
Details:
-ALL options (there were only 3) – Memory Package, Automatic Day/Night Mirrors, Body Side Moldings
-With the Z06 package came the Heads-Up-Display, Dual Zone Climate Control, Traction Control/Active Handling, Bose stereo w/CD player, floor mats
-Black/Black, 20,950 adult driven and garage kept miles (car has seen rain less than 5 times in its life).
-This car has been a fair weather driver only and has never given me ANY issues.
-I am the original owner having purchased the car new in Jan 2002 with 4 miles on the odometer
-ZERO dents, dings, etc. Paint is basically as new aside from a few tiny rocks chips on the hood and the underside is as clean as the top.
-Interior shows extremely minimal wear, no scuffs, stains, wrinkles in the seats, sun damage, etc.
-Motor always detailed by hand NEVER with a hose.
-Motor uses ZERO oil between changes and is changed every 12 months OR 3,000 miles (Mobil 1)
-Motor has NEVER been opened in any way including removal of valve covers
-NO leaks, squeaks, or rattles anywhere on the car
-Car has NEVER been raced, tracked or autocrossed
-Washed and Zainoed top to bottom today (1/06/13)
*The only warranty/dealer work ever performed was the replacement of the passenger side door control module (door would not lock with key fob) in 2004 and the Column Lock Uninstall recall in 2005. The only maintenance since new has been regular fluid changes. Car has been over-maintenanced and under-driven without a doubt.
-Less than 900 easy miles on new Goodyear Supercar Tires ($1,500) (*this is the first set of tires installed on this car aside from the originals that still had ¼ tread left on them but were getting rock hard and slick)
-New Optima Red Top battery ($200)
MODS (if you want to call these mods):
-1to4 skipshift eliminator / CAGS defeat
-Halltech carbon fiber cold-air intake and filter (factory airbox comes with car)
-Baer Eradispeed cross drilled brake rotors (factory rotors w/1,000 miles on them come with car)
EXTRAS (come with car):
-Black C5 Speed Lingerie bra ($550) (zero scuffs, etc. Used on a few highway road trips)
-California Car Cover ($250)
-Custom interior cabin partition with rear center and side covers ($350)(looks absolutely factory original)
-iPod2Car iPod/iPhone adaptor ($200)
Blue Book on this car with its low mileage (not factoring in the extras, new tires, new battery, etc.) is in the $28,000 range. This is not a distressed sale. I am attempting to price it fairly for a quick, easy sale.
