What is my 02 Z06 worth? I will be listing it soon and need some advice.

Mods are in my sig and it has 18K miles on it.

I looked at trade in @ kbb.bom and they say 36K - and the private party value is 39K. I know these are just "guide lines" to base a value from, but can you guys have a look at my car (with mods) and tell me what I should ask?

I would like to get 38K for it - but I feel that I can move a bit if required.

The mods don't help resale value, in fact they might hurt it. If you have all the original parts, you'd probably be better off putting it back to stock and selling the mods separately. That being said, how much ya want for the S2?

FYI, my '02 EB w/ 6k miles (bone stock) that I bought 2 weeks ago was $36,500+tax, etc. from a dealership.

Best time to sell is in the spring and summer. Your price is right on if not too little. Sell the car as is or with racing equipment removed and stock parts back on. Tell the buyer it's all theirs.

Don't give the car away unless you really need too. You have a beautiful car. Spring and Summer theory.

I have less then 900 miles on my stock 02 Z06. But 100+ passes thru the 1/4. Runs 12.30's at 116+ with all the et slips, window sticker, manuals, build sheet etc.

Good luck but if you can stick it out until the weather is warmer.

I tried to get $38 for mine when it had 8000 miles, and chromies on it 5 months ago. No luck but I wasn't in the market long. I was planning on moving to an 04.
$35 to $37 is probably realistic if you advertise and market it heavy. Headers and exhaust wont make much difference, might actually scare some away.

I'd still buy a 04 if I could get 36 for mine(with stock rims) and buy an 04 for about 44, but I don't think that's gonna happen.

I am going to list it as is for 33K - I NEED TO SELL IT - and Closer - I am being laid off in addition to being involved in a heated partnership dispute that is going to drag out in court, thus I need all the resources I can get.

It should go pretty quick. Hope things work out for you.

Too bad the deals that are being offered by some of our forum sponsors are not available in the spring and summer. They have agressive discounts now because it's winter and it's their slowest time of the year. Rick is offering $2500 below factory invoice and Jason is discounting $9000-$10,000 off MSRP. This time of the year makes it difficult to take advantage of these offers. Not many people up north are thinking of buying a pre-owned ZO6 this time of year. It's a real catch-22.

You might try: www.konkens.com. They sell & race Corvettes. Maybe they would know someone looking for a Z06 with a few extras under the hood.........

I bought my Z off of Cars.com. I recommended the site to a friend who was looking for a 911, and he found it on that site. If I had to sell my Z, I'd list it there.

Another good site is:

It get's wide exposure across the country.
It also helps to upload some digital pictures. It cost's a little more but worth it.

Being a 02 Car shopper...let me tell what I have realized...

02 EB Z about $36-38K...plus tax...that is about a $40k-41k loan...4.9% financing for 5 or 6 yrs...$750 or $661

04 Z06....after all the rebates with 0% or 1.9% gets you about the same monthly.

I think this is making the used 02 Z06 hard to sell.

The positive part about your car is the aftermarket parts.

I had a 99 Mustang GT and sold it for $23k....I got about half the cost of my mods and labor cost. Car in KBB was for $16800, lasted 2 days on the market.

But now I am looking for a Z06...

Anyhow...$36k-$38k is a goodprice range with the mods if you need to sell it.

I believe you have a misinformed opinion. I think you need to do some more research on the selling prices for these cars!!!
It is a good thing that you don't need to sell this car, because quite simply you wouldn't for that price!!!!
