What's my 03 LPE IC maggie z06 worth?

I'm pondering the sale of my 03 z06 with the LPE IC maggie package. I need to crunch some numbers, but I need your opinion on what it is worth to someone first. Here are the specs...

03 z purchased new April of 03.

Brought car to Lingenfelter at 7500 miles on odometer.

Had the IC Polished magnuson supercharger installed with these items added...160 thermostat, KB BAP, Blackwing intake, Boost bypass switch (valet switch), lighted boost gauge, black Lingenfelter coil covers, LPE floor mats, LPE exhaust plate, custom "Z06 Lingenfelter" side badges. Dyno tested (have sheet) at 507rwhp, 433rwtq. I also purchased 4 Brembo cross-drilled rotors and Akebono ceramic brake pads. I now have a cobalt blue lighted boost gauge installed.

Other items...
ACI high-rise hood
Corsa Titanium Competition Exhaust with 4" polished tips
Shorty antenna
Escort 8500 X50 (blue) with ZR3 laser shifter (front & rear)
Gtech Pro Competition meter (blue)
Complete blue L.E.D. interior
Lowered 3/4" all around on stock bolts
Stock front F1's
Nitto NT-01 315-35-18's in rear
Tail light seals
Hood seal
Andy's lightweight partition (perfect carpet match)
Delrin shift knob
Still have factory front plate mount (never installed)
Have all manuals

A couple of pics...

Thanks all,

Adam

Hmmm, I guess it depends on who the buyer is If it's a longtime forum member looking to get back into a Z06...

In all seriousness, how many miles on it and does it still have any warranty left (I know it's an LPE car)? Depending on mileage I would say 40K if it's got more then 36K on it, and maybe as high as 52-53K if it's under 10k miles. My gut says a much closer range is between 45-48K.

Nabbs, its got 9900 miles on it. The 3 year factory warranty was up in April (although I never had it to the dealer for anything except the first free oil change at 800 miles). The car has been dead reliable, everytime. I'm not sure if there is a warranty on the maggie through LPE. I've only got 2500 miles on the supercharger install since last summer.

Let me just preface/caveat this with "what it's worth is very different then what it might sell for." That being said, I haven't seen many Z06s sell online (please note I said online) for more the 60K, regardless of their aftermarket options or pedigree. Since, your car is super-low mileage, has a big name tuner behind it, and is no doubt in excellent condition. As such I would say if you are willing to wait and try and sell it for a "fair" price I would say 52-55K would definately be fair for a perfectly sorted out car. Now, if you are motivated to sell and you have a buyer with cash in hand right now I think anywhere between 45-48K would be fair for both parties. This is about 10K over what a comparable stock Z06 with the same mileage would go for, which I think is really pretty fair.

52k?

Wow.

I would imagine 37k, maybe 38k tops.

How much do you have invested in the car? Looks like a beautiful ride, I just don't have any idea what the LPE IC maggie package costs to put on a car.

Like I said itchynackers on the internet people lie. Everybody has bought a Z06 for under 20K -- I just think gauging what people "see" cars sell for online is not a good indicator, well, because people lie

As such, I disagree strongly with Pakisho and Butterfly, and think your car could bring in the right dollar figure. It's more a question of time then anything else. Anything under mid-40s is getting into "I need to unload quickly" territory. If you sit on it, I bet your car should bring more.

To a point. The longer it sits, the more it depreciated in value. Now if you are talking a month or two, then not by much, but 6 months, a year, now we are talking depreciation.

Personally , I have no clue what aftermarket does to a car, as I have never tryed to sell or buy andthing modded, but just from a time standpoint, there is a line there.

The rule of thumb I use (now this is me) for a highly modded car is the high average value of the car in stock condition (what are they going for in top condition) PLUS half of the value of mods done if all are relatively recent or new (less if it's and older mod)

So, using my rule of thumb 36k - 37k plus 8 or 9 k is a rough guess for a starting point. Having said that, a car with a history or significant name should bring a little more. It doesn't get any better than the name Lingenfelter when it comes to Corvettes nowadays. so $45 -50K is possible if you can wait for the right buyer.
