WTB: 04 Exhaust Center Section

If any of you guys have dumped your cats by replacing your 04 exhaust center section (header flange to muffler pipe flange), I'm interested in buying the section from you.

The SCCA requires stock emissions and does test, especially at the Runoffs. My stock center section is old and abused and I'm not confident the cats are still good (and may be restricting flow at this point) and I'd like to replace the section before the Runoffs in Sept.

Thanks.

M,
Thanks!

Is that leakdown in the new motor or the one that was in it?

Look forward to the "dance" as well. Trying to decide what to do about motors myself...

Old motor, range should be 5-8% according to Papa Joe.I think the 04 short block is the way to go as it has the new pistons and HD chain..although looking at the disparity of the stock pulls some of the crew here are getting there is a bit of the vegas element involved. I figure upgrading mine to 04 specs and a good blueprint is less random than a crate, there's not much latitude otherwise.

Of course this is all moot as the sand will fall out of that P-car and we will be fighting for a podium,at best.Hope i'm wrong, but if he's got the field covered in qualifying i think i'll make a deal with John to spear the panzer in five at the start for a discount on a Blue Devil
