WTB 99-00 Black FRC

Unfortunately, some race team offered my insurance company quite a bit of money for my not-very-badly-damaged 99 FRC, and they totalled it on me. I just dumped a bunch into mods and stuff, but oh well. Such is life.

I now wish to buy another. Looking for a Black FRC. Under 50K miles preferably, Not looking for a steal, just a good deal on a cherry car. Several in the trader around here, none really pretty or properly modded.

I can be reached at (619) 823-5643 or at wes@tridentboats.com

Thanks guys!

Wes,
BTW, you should tell the insurance company that you want to keep your mods. If they say no, then tell them that the price of the car should include extra for the mods. Only problem is that if you take off the mods, you have to put something in its place to make the car drivaeable if it affects the driveability.

Wasn't worth the time. The exhaust got hit hard, trashed one of my wheels and rotors etc... Plus, I don't have anything to replace them with.

Such is life. I am already paid off, and they did give me some money for my extras. Not much though.

This forum is working great though. Four calls, all local southern california. I think more people read this than we think.

I hope you find the right car. How much more do you think it would cost to upgrade to a 2001 Z06?

Not really the point. I realize that this is definitely not the forum to express this sentiment... but I actually like the FRC better than the Z06. Money really isn't the issue. I just see that every other Vette that I see on the road is a Z, and while I love them to death, I think that the personna non grata image of the FRC is more up my alley. They end up relatively light, with no markings explaining anything... just simply bad. Some light mods here and there and you will run right with one, but fly under most radars.

In my experience, most don't know what to make of it. I love that. No one runs up to you quoting speed figures and stats, because few know for sure.

That being said, I love all Corvettes. I am just looking for an FRC.
