Howdy!
First, welcome and good luck finding your Z06
You'll find from a stock -v- stock comparison, the Z will beat the Supra in every performance catagory (don't believe the old motortrend figures, the Z, on track, will outbrake a Supra). I have some reasonable experience with C5's, the Z06 being my second, and I owned a highly customized Supra built by Titan out of Orlando - in fact, if you received the e-flyer to the BigHP event sponsored by Titan, that's my old car (though semi-colorized).
I ran the same times in my _stock_ Z at tracks like Roebling Road as I did in my Supra with a T04R single, 6P 14" brakes, TRD/Tein suspension, etc. My Supra weighed in at **500** lbs heavier than my Z at the same track scale, so that weight makes a big difference in repetitive braking, transitional manuevers (vs. like the steady state of a skid pad), etc.
All that extra (dyno) power does not translate as well to real world timeslips as the Z's. Power-under-the-curve is where it's at (I know what it's like to drive a peaky 800HP car) so I think you'll find the Z a more pleasant overall driving experience, though it doesn't have that scary/exciting explosion of power a 3L inline 6 with 30PSI of boost gives you!

Of course, you don't have to "sell" someone on a Supra, there are enough fans of the car where it doesn't really matter how it stacks up against a car like a Z06 - the limited supply will mean there's always buyers.
If you choose to modify a Z, a few bolt-ons, even a cam, you'll have a 500HP car, that will likely never need retuning, and run with that power on _pump gas_, everyday. Just something so simply elegant about NA power. To be honest, the only thing I miss a little about the Supra was the extreme exclusivity (I honestly don't miss the big HP on a street and road race car), but the Z is a little exclusive among Vette's, and you can certainly choose from a really wide range of things to make your car your own!
BTW, those are some of the highest numbers I've seen on a BPU car, especially considering no AFR/AFC/AEM/e-Manage/Etc. What kind of PSI was that run made on? Are those corrected numbers? I usually see 110+ octane, 20PSI (knowing anything higher is thermally deficient, making more heat, but no more power on the little stock twins) making more in the neighborhood of ~430rwhp/~450rwtq
A really ultra clean '94 might be in the ballpark of your asking price, sounds like it has some nice extras, and the comp#'s are excellent. I had about $80K+ tied up in mine, but of course took a beating on all the aftermarket stuff (I actually think the more that's been done, the less % of return).
Again, welcome, there's some very knowledgable people on this forum - you probably know Steve Theodore, he was a big Supra hardtop guy, went with a SP63 single to do some road racing, but decided to sell (he just did) and go with a Z06 for a daily/weekend DE car, so there's even a few Supra-to-Z converts here as well.
BTW, you probably know Jim at Turbo Toys? He cleared out my garage when I sold the Supra, I had all sorts of OEM parts, he even came up and picked 'em up from me!
