WTT: DTE built 4.10 rear (San Francisco area)

I have a Dynotech Engineering Stage 2 built 4.10 rear end with hardened shaft (under 500 miles) that I would like to trade for a stock 3.42 Getrag rear. I would like to get $1000, plus your stock 3.42 rear.

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area and would like to swap please let me know. Thanks.

Was the 4:10 too much gear for the car?

Not really. I drive on 315/30/18 BFG drag radials most of the time and can hook pretty good on the street and the drag strip with the 4.10's. My car is more setup for road racing and I like the 3.42's better on a road course.

My buyer backed out so I think I will run the 4.10's one more time at Thunderhill and if they do well I'll just keep them.

If you have stock tires I would not do the 4.10's at all. I can spin my Toyo RA1's up through 3rd gear very easily and I barlely have over 400rwhp.

Do you think the 4:10 would be better for road course racing with a C5 6 spd as opposed to the Z06. I know the C5 gears are not as close ratio and I have heard many like the 4:10s more on a C5, 3:73s on a Z06. Thanks
